OK. So now that I’m working on the Tile Editor for FannyPack … I’m still working on writing a new book on MonoGame, but FannyPack is now an integral part of that process. SpriteSheets is (mostly) feature complete. I’m currently designing the Tile Editor tool. I realize that embedding the assets will make the project files HUGE. FannyPack, It's Back!

FannyPack is again under active development. I’m still working on writing a new book on MonoGame, but FannyPack is now an integral part of that process. SpriteSheets is (mostly) feature complete. I’m currently designing the Tile Editor tool. I’m also converting the site to Bootstrap 3, so please let me know if you see any issues.

FannyPack, On Hold

FannyPack is on hold for a while. I’ve shifted my attention to writing a new book on MonoGame. Microsoft’s XNA has been mothballed, so I’m contributing to, and writing about, its opensource replacement - MonoGame. I reset the delivery dates for the first two phases of FannyPack - SpriteSheets and SpriteFonts. I think early next year is an ambitious, but achievable, goal.

Sprite Sheets is squarely in Alpha (v0.1.0). It’s fully functional, with no known bugs. Only the MaxRects packer and sprite rotation function are missing from my version one wish list.
